Description 2x 2032 button cell Battery holder - 6V with On/Off switch
This small coin cell battery holder is ideal for (small) portable projects. It can hold two 2032 (20mm) coin cells. The batteries are connected in series to give a nominal 6V. (If you only want 3V, we recommend inserting a crumpled piece of aluminum foil into one of the slots.) 20mm coin cells are popular because they are used in things like bike lights. They are easy to come by and are fairly cheap. They usually have a capacity of around 220mAh, so this holder would give you 6V @ 220mAh with two cells.
The holder is made of plastic and clicks open and closed. You can tape it shut if you need more security than just the plastic snap. A handy feature is the on/off switch. This allows you to determine when your device is on or off.
NOTE! The picture shows a JST connector. This is not included!
