Description 2x 2032 button cell Battery holder - 6V with On / Off switch
This small button cell battery holder is ideal for (small) portable projects. Can accommodate two 2032 (20mm) button cell batteries. The batteries are in series to generate 6V nominal. (If you only want 3V, we recommend inserting a crumpled piece of aluminum foil into one of the slots.) 20mm button cell batteries are popular because they are used in bicycle lights, among others. They are easy to obtain and are fairly inexpensive. They usually have a capacity of about 220 mAh so this holder would give you 6V @ 220 mAh with two cells.
The holder is made of plastic and clicks open and closed. You can seal it if you need more security than just the plastic pusher. A handy feature is the on / off switch. This allows you to determine when your device is on or off.
