This is a general purpose 20K ohm potentiometer. You can easily put it on a Breadboard attach or solder to a protoplate. The potentiometer has three pins. The outer two pins are connected to the VCC and 0V. The middle pin outputs a variable voltage between 0V and VCC. The value depends on the position of the potentiometer. You can adjust the potentiometer with a small flat head screwdriver.
