This 2x2A DC Motor Shield from DFrobot is an essential part for Arduino users. It allows Arduino to control two DC motors. The heart of this shield is the L298N chip. This chip supplies up to 2A current per channel. Speed ​​control is easily achieved via PWM. This signal comes from Arduino's PWM output pins 5 and 6. The on/off function of the motor is controlled by Arduino's digital pins 4 and 7.

You can power the Motor Shield directly from Arduino. But, an external power source is recommended. This increases the performance of the shield.
