Description Adafruit NeoKey Trinkey - USB NeoPixel Mechanical Button
This is the NeoKey Trinkey from Adafruit. It's half USB and half Trinket. This module comes with a Trinket M0 as a brain, a NeoPixel glow and is Cherry MX compatible. The Neo Trinkey is based on single-key macro pads, but this is a simple version that easily fits into your USB port .
The PCB is designed to fit into any USB-A port. There is an ATSAMD21 microcontroller on board and one pin is connected to a Cherry MX compatible switch . Another pin is connected to a NeoPixel LED. The third pin can be used as a capacitive touch input. There is also a small reset button on the board to get into bootloader mode.
The SAMD21 works on both CircuitPython and Arduino. And thanks to the NeoPixel and FreeTouch libraries it is extra easy to program.
Please note! The module does not come with a soldered button. You can choose your favorite MX compatible button and solder it on the module.
