Description - Arduino Nano 33 IOT
The Nano form factor has been a crowd pleaser among makers for years due to its small footprint and easy integration into any project. The inclusion of an ECC608A crypto chip means it also offers IOT security features that are usually not available at such a low price. The Arduino offers secure WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity with a 6-axis IMU. It has a certified module with an external processor that maintains RF compliance when writing application code.
Thanks to the built-in DC-DC power supply, the card can be powered up to 21V, with high efficiency and many external devices without overheating. This is a great improvement over other products on the market that have LDO and heat up quite a bit when fed at high voltages.
The main processor of the board is an Arm® Cortex®-M0 32-bit SAMD21 with low power consumption. The WiFi and Bluetooth® connectivity is performed with a module from u-blox, the NINA-W10, a low-power chipset operating within the 2,4 GHz range. In addition, secure communication is ensured by the Microchip® ECC608 crypto chip. In addition, you can find a 6-axis IMU, this makes it board perfect for simple vibration alarm systems, pedometers, relative positioning of robots.
The communication chipset on the Nano 33 IoT can be both a BLE and Bluetooth® client and host device. If you want to see how easy it is to create a Bluetooth® center or a peripheral, check out the examples at ArduinoBLE library.
