The Bambu Lab Double Sided Smooth PEI Sheet is designed to improve the precision and quality of 3D printing. This product is not suitable for the Bambu Lab A1, due to specific requirements on the sheet thickness. It offers a solution against bubble formation by heating on a heatbed at a minimum of 80 degrees, which is essential for a smooth surface. Regular cleaning with detergent and water is recommended to maintain optimal adhesion, while the use of acetone should be avoided to prevent damage to the PEI surface. The Smooth PEI sheet should be treated with care, with recommendations such as sandblasting with fine sandpaper to restore adhesion. Despite being considered a consumable, this sheet contributes to high Z-axis precision in prints and is compatible with a wide range of filaments, with special attention to PLA. The magnetic adhesion of the 0.5mm thick spring steel sheet prevents warping and improves the overall print quality, especially for larger models. The unique matte finish of the PEI layer enriches the aesthetics of the printed object.
