Description Grove - Mini PIR Motion Sensor
This is the Grove Mini PIR motion sensor Seeed Studio. It is a compact sensor with low power consumption. It is ideal for applications with relatively less sensing distances. The detection distance of this sensor is about 3m to 5m according to the datasheet. However, the best distance is about 2 meters. The sensor works best in 25℃ environments.
You can set the sensitivity of the sensor yourself. A pin is reserved on the back of the module where you can solder a sliding resistor. This allows you to adjust the sensitivity. If you think that the sensitivity is not sufficient, you can drag the plastic cap slightly upwards. This slightly improves the sensitivity of the PIR sensor.
Thanks to the Grove connector, this sensor is easy to use and you can combine it with hundreds of other Grove modules.
