Description DHT11 Temperature and humidity sensor

The DHT11 is one of the most popular sensors. It is able to measure both temperature and humidity. This makes it ideal for DIY projects that require temperature or humidity data. The DHT11 is fully digital. No analog to digital calibration is required. The sensor is very easy to use. The only drawback is that you can only take one measurement every 2 seconds. To connect the sensor there are 3 pins. One for the 3-5V, one for the signal and one for the GND. The sensor is not "Dallas One Wire" compatible. If you want to connect multiple sensors, you must connect each sensor to its own data pin† The sensor has a built-in resistor. So you can connect the sensor directly to your microcontroller board.

excellent sensor, but the documentation states that it has 4 pins, but the current dht only has 3 pins

  2. Leo Bloemink (verified owner) -

    Works great
