Description Grove - Mini PIR Motion Sensor
This is the Grove Mini PIR motion sensor from Seeed Studio. It is a compact sensor with low power consumption. It is ideal for applications with relatively less detection distances. The detection distance of this sensor is about 3m to 5m according to the datasheet. However, the best distance is about 2 meters. The sensor works best in environments of 25 ℃.
You can set the sensitivity of the sensor yourself. On the back of the module a pin is reserved where you can solder a sliding resistor . With this you can adjust the sensitivity. If you think the sensitivity is not sufficient you can drag the plastic cap up a little. This will improve the sensitivity of the PIR sensor a little.
Thanks to the Grove connector, this sensor is easy to use and you can combine it with hundreds of other Grove modules .
