The HAT is designed with a standard Raspberry Pi 40PIN GPIO expansion header. This makes it compatible with Raspberry Pi boards and Jetson Nano. It has an onboard dual HR8825 motor controller IC with built-in microstepping indexer. This allows you to easily control two stepper motors with different microstepping modes. These modes are configurable via DIP switches. The motor current is adjustable via a potentiometer. It can supply up to 2.5A of output current. With a built-in 5V regulator, you can also supply power to the Raspberry Pi through the HAT. In addition, the HAT offers multiple connector options for stepper motors in different specifications. The stepper motor HAT can do up to 1/32 microstep.
