This is the Inky pHAT ePaper Display - 2.13 Inch from Pimoroni. It is an energy-efficient and stylish ePaper display for your Raspberry Pi . This 2.13-inch screen is available in three colour schemes: red/black/white, yellow/black/white and black/white. Thanks to the high contrast, the display is bright and sharp, even in direct sunlight. Ideal for simple graphics, text, and data visualisations. Use it as a clock, for weather updates, tweets, news, sports results, or to display sensor data and stock prices. The display uses an electrophotic ink system (EPD). Where coloured particles reflect light instead of letting it pass. This makes it easier to read in bright light. The multi-colour versions consume approximately 8mA during a refresh, which takes 15 seconds. The Inky pHAT comes fully assembled. The screen is firmly attached to the PCB and connected via a ribbon cable. No soldering required! It is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models with a 40-pin header, including the Pi Zero and Pi Zero W.
Pimoroni's easy-to-use Python library lets you quickly display text and images on the screen. Includes handy examples such as a clock and weather display, perfect for beginners and experts alike.
