Description L7812CV 12V 1,5A Voltage regulator
This regulator can provide local on-card control. This means you no longer suffer from distribution problems that occur with single point arrangements. It uses internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe-area protection. This makes the L7812CV essentially indestructible. When the module is equipped with a suitable heatsink, it can deliver an output of more than 1A. The module is primarily designed as a fixed voltage regulator. However, it can also be used with external components to obtain adjustable voltages and currents.
