Description LED SHIM
The LED SHIM from Pimoroni offers 28 small RGB LED pixels in one row. It fits perfectly on your GPIO pins Raspberry Pi. The LED SHIM is ideal for displaying status updates, notifications, as a VU meter or as a bar graph for sensors.
A big advantage of the LED SHIM is that you don't have to solder. Thanks to the special friction-fit header, you can slide the SHIM directly onto the GPIO pins† Because the PCB is only 0,8mm thick you can use it in combination with HATs and pHATs.

We've put together a one-line installer to install the LED SHIM Python library† You'll be up and running in a jiffy! There's a bunch of example programs to show you what's possible with LED SHIM, that you can learn from and adapt to your needs.
To install the software, open a terminal and type curl https://get.pimoroni.com/ledshim | bash to run the one-line-installer.
