    One of the two cables was defective. Reported this and after receiving the photo that I had cut the cable in half, I immediately sent another cable. Now I have 2 working cables.

    Works but USB cables that I connect to the female side are very stiff; so stiff that I'm afraid to break both connections. The USB connection locks into place with a loud click.
