Description Motor Driver Board about this Raspberry Pi Pico-Kitronik

Make of the Raspberry Pi Pico the heart of your new buggy project with the Kitronik Compact Motor Driver Board about this Raspberry Pi Pico.
This board represents the Raspberry Pi Pico is able to control two motors at the same time. It includes full forward, reverse and stop controls, making it ideal for Pico buggy projects. In addition, the board can also be used to control a stepper motor. It features the DRV8833 motor driver IC. It has built-in short-circuit, overcurrent and thermal protection.
The board has 4 external connections to GPIO pins and a 3V and GND power supply from the Pico. This makes additional IO options available for your motor project. These IOs can be read or controlled by the Pico. In addition, there is an on/off switch and a power status LED. This way you can see at a glance whether the board is powered and you can save batteries when your project is not in use.
To use the motor driver board, the Pico must be fitted with a soldered pin header and firmly plugged into the connector. The board provides a regulated power supply that feeds into the 40-pin connector to power the Pico. It is therefore not necessary to supply the Pico with power directly. The motor driver board is powered via screw terminals or a servo style connector.
Kitronik has developed a micro-python module and sample code to support the use of the Motor Driver board with the Pico.
Note:
Due to the additional power draw of a Pico W's wireless functions, it is not recommended to use the wireless functionality with this board. The standard functionality of the Pico W will work normally, only the wireless functions will be affected.
