The Spy Camera for Raspberry Pi is smaller than a fingernail, with a high enough resolution to see people or ghosts, or whatever you are looking for.
It is about the size of a cell phone camera - the module is only 8,5mm x 11,3mm - and has a hangable back.
So it is easy to mount in a doorbell or behind the eye of a teddy bear!

The camera comes with a 289mm long cable, so you can extend your Pi and mount it away from the camera.
Just like it Raspberry Pi-camera board, it gets to you Raspberry Pi attached via one of the two small connectors on the board. This interface uses the special CSI interface, which is specially designed to interface with cameras.
The CSI bus is capable of extremely high data rates and only outputs pixel data.

The camera is connected to the BCM2835 processor on the Pi via the CSI bus, a higher bandwidth link that returns pixel data from the camera to the processor.
This bus drives along the flex cable that attaches the camera board to the Pi.

The sensor itself has a native resolution of 5 megapixel and has a fixed focus lens on board.
In terms of still images, the camera can take static images of 2592 x 1944 pixels and also supports 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60 / 90 video.

The CSI camera port works with Raspberry Pi 3B.
