This is the Seeed XIAO nRF52840 from Seeed Studio. It is a small microcontroller board with ultra low power consumption. In addition, it comes with wireless capabilities and supports Bluetooth 5.0. The XIOA nRF52840 comes with a built-in BQ25101 chip that manages the battery charge. This extends the usage time.
The board supports the USB Type-C interface. This allows you to power the XIOA nRF52840, but also upload the code. The board has 1MB Flash and 256kB RAM. In addition, you have 2MB QSPI Flash. There are 11 digital I/Os available. These can be used as PWM pins. 6 analog I/Os can be used as ADC pins. It supports UART, IIC and SPI as a serial port. Next to the USB-C port is a small reset button and a 3 in 1 LED and a power LED. The Bluetooth antenna is built into the board.
Its powerful performance makes it an ideal board for applications such as machine learning. It is also perfect for projects where a small footprint is essential. You can program it in Arduino, MicroPython and FircyPhon.
