The Wemos D1 Mini Pro is a microcontrollerboard with WiFi connectivity. The Wemos D1 boards are very popular because they offer many functionalities at a competitive price† The Wemos D1 mini pro is based on the ESP8266EX soc and has 16mb flash memory. The board contains a Micro-USB connector that allows you to board can program.
The board has 16 pins (supplied separately). 11 of these are digital I/O pins. Except for the D0 pin, these are all PWM, I2C and one-wire compatible. In addition, there is one analog input (max 3.2V), one 3.3V, one 5V, and one GND pin.

Cheap alternative to the adruno with Wifi! (You have to solder the headers yourself). It's nice that there is an extra header so you don't have to solder the Wemos to the PCB but can pin it on)
