This add-on pack for the Kitronic micro:bit inventor's kit provides the perfect way to learn more about the world of ZIP LEDs† These LEDs are easy to operate and can show beautiful colors.
With this add-on pack you will learn how to write codes to control ZIP LEDs yourself. This way you can make them react to the input of components such as potentiometers and sensors† There are ten experiments, nine in the booklet and one online. These projects help you develop the necessary skills.
ZIP LEDs are based on a WS2812B chip and are also called NeoPixels. They are compatible with the Adafruit Neopixel and other WS2812B drivers. They can be controlled with the micro:bit in MakeCodeBlocks en micropython.
