Features LAB:bit educational platform for micro:bit
- LAB:bit is an all-in-one educational platform designed for KS2 classroom computing (7-10 year olds).
- It is packed with devices, LEDs, switches, sensors and other programmable functions.
- It features an edge connector for the micro:bit. (plug & play)
- LAB:bit comes with a pre-assembled protective acrylic cap.
- In addition, there are pads for attaching an additional motor, 2 x pads for attaching additional buttons/switches, color changing power indicator LEDs and a cutout for easy access to the reset button.
- There are also pre-assembled non-slip rubber feet to ensure LAB:bit stays firmly on the desk.
- Code it with blocks in the MakeCode editor.
- Custom Kitronik blocks to make coding more intuitive and easier.
- Custom blocks are grouped by type to make it easy to go straight to the blocks you need.
- You don't have to solder!
- Minimal mechanical assembly required.
- Supplied in the box are; a battery holder (3 x AA), a wheel and tire for the motor.
- Power LAB:bit via the included 3 x AA battery holder.
- The board is suitable for 3V - 6V.
- It has a built-in polarity protection circuit for the DC input.
- The built-in power control circuit supplies power to the board and the micro:bit, eliminating the need to micro:bit to be powered separately.
