Arduino Global Partner Conference 2019
Electronics It was invited for You to participate on behalf of the Netherlands in the first Arduino Global Partner Conference 2019. This conference took place in Como Italy.
It was a fantastic experience to meet and talk extensively with the Arduino team & other partners.
In addition to launching a new product, much has been said about the direction the company will take in the near future.
New release: Arduino MKR WAN 1310
The MKR WAN 1310 is an improved version of the MKRWAN 1300.
MKR WAN 1310 Hardware:
- Microchip Cortex M0 +
- 256KB Flash / 32K RAM
- ECC508A Crypto Chip
- Murata LoRa Module
- Battery charger
- 2MB Flash memory
Other interesting points of this new board are:
- Lower energy consumption
- Certified Radio Stack
- MKR form factor
Very important at the MKR boards is security against hacks. For this reason, all boards a crypto chip.
Where is the focus?
Education
Arduino has been making teaching packages for a while now. There is now enough teaching material for students from 11 to 26 years to work with Arduino throughout the entire learning process.
Arduino is currently working hard to translate the packages and environment. Unfortunately, Dutch is not yet on the schedule.
Maker
Currently, the largest group of Arduino users is Makers. Arduino attaches great value to this group of users. They will therefore continue to work to enable more and more people to make complex projects simple.
Professional
During the conference, Arduino made it clear that they will be working hard in the professional market in the near future.
There are some very interesting things planned. It is therefore recommended to keep an eye on both their and our website.
Arduino Fundamentals Certification
Officially certify your Arduino programming and electronics knowledge by taking the Arduino Fundamentals exam.
Arduino Fundamentals is an online exam that provides official certification for your knowledge of Arduino related electronics, programming and physical computing.
The exam is based on the concepts introduced in the Arduino Starter Kits, because it offers everything you need (components, project book and support) to get started with Arduino, coding and electronics in a practical way.
The Arduino Fundamental exam is web-based and consists of 36 questions with 75 minutes to complete them all.
You will receive your results immediately after submitting, indicating whether you have passed or failed. Upon passing the exam you will be rewarded with the Arduino Fundamentals certificate.
