3D printer filament
Most 3D Printers work with filament. 3D Printer filament is a plastic thread, usually 1,75mm thick. The 3D Printer heats this to just above its melting point to stick it layer upon layer in a certain shape. By repeating this process, a 3D printed object is created. 3D Printer Filament comes in many different types, but PLA is by far the most popular. Each species has its own properties. PLA is easy to print and also breaks down easily in the environment, making it a good choice for environmentally conscious 3D printers. ABS, for example, is a sturdier material that can withstand higher temperatures. This makes it better suited for some business applications. These are just 2 examples of materials. The list is considerably longer. It is therefore advisable to read carefully about the different options and features if you want to get the most out of your machine.
3D printing parts
3D Printers are machines. Although each new version becomes more user-friendly, maintenance is necessary. If you keep your 3D Printer clean and grease the bearings occasionally, maintenance is not too bad. But if you use your printer continuously, parts will need to be replaced. Fortunately, you will find the most commonly used 3D Printer parts with us. As you print a lot and/or print special materials, your nozzle will wear out. These are very easy to replace with the Bambu Lab 3D Printers. It is also possible to replace your nozzle for one with a larger or smaller hole. This helps for precision or higher printing speed. Parts are therefore important for replacing worn parts, but also for upgrading your machine.
Resin 3D Printer
Some 3D Printers do not work with filament, but with Resin. 3D Printer Resin is a type of resin that hardens in certain light. In principle, this works about the same as a filament printer. A certain shape is hardened and glued together layer by layer. However, the printing process is upside down. The printed circuit board is placed in a bath with resin and rises from it piece by piece. The advantage of Resin 3D Printing is that it can be even more precise than filament 3D Printing. The disadvantage is that it is often for smaller objects and that it requires some post-processing. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to print multiple materials in one object.
