Description Grove BME688 4-In-1 Gas Sensor
The BME688 is a 4-in-1 gas sensor with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and integrated high-linear and high-precision pressure, humidity and temperature sensors. This sensor can be easily adapted for specific applications. Such as detecting (unpleasant) odors, forest fires, and so on. The main idea behind Grove is to simplify the process of building electronic circuits by eliminating the need for soldering or complex wiring. The sensor is trainable to detect different gas mixtures and their presence using Bosch's AI Studio. It measures gas, humidity, temperature and barometric pressure. Its accurate pressure readings also allow it to be used as an altimeter with an accuracy of ±1 meter or better. The BME688 sensor is backwards compatible with the BME680. Compared to BME680, it has an additional gas scan function with low power consumption (3,9 mA in standard gas scan mode).
