Description HiFiBerry DAC2 Pro XLR
This is the DAC+ Pro XLR from HiFiBerry. It is the big brother of the DAC+. The Pro is more efficient and powerful and has been specially developed for professional users† It is suitable for studio quality equipment with balanced outputs. The Burr-Brown-Chip is used to provide the best possible audio quality. The gold-plated XLR connectors are optimal for audio cable connections. It board also features an ultra-low jitter clock generator (22,5792 MHz and 24,576 MHz). This makes the DAC+ Pro XLR independent of the Raspberry Pi clock. It board comes with spacers to fix it board firmly to the Pi.
The HiFiBerry DAC+ Pro XLR can control the output volume with Alsamixer. It can also use other applications that support the Alsamixer. You can also adapt it to use an external power supply for the analog part.
