Description LAMP:bit - Street lamp for micro:bit - Kitronic
The LAMP:bit from Kitronik is a small light in the shape of a street lamp. It is designed to be used with a BBC micro:bit and can stand upright. The LAMP:bit has connectors that allow the micro:bit can be screwed directly† It's great fun for projects where traffic is central. It would work great with Kitronik's STOP:bit.
The board contains a phototransistor that can be used to respond to changes in ambient light† This allows the white LED to turn on or off automatically.
The board is powered by the micro:bit connected to it, this goes through the 0V and 3V pins.
