Thanks to Power Delivery (PD) technology, this adapter speeds up the charging process. It does this by intelligently communicating with your device. This guarantees optimal charging speed and voltage. This results in faster charging/power delivery compared to conventional chargers. By default, the Pi 5 limits the total power drawn from its four USB ports to 600mA. This power adapter increases this limit to 1,6A when detected. What your performance Raspberry Pi 5 improves. This power supply can supply 3A @ 9V, 2,25A @ 12V and 1,8A @ 15V to PD compatible devices. Making it a cost-effective choice for various applications.
