Description FLUX HEXA 60W Laser Cutter
This is the HEXA laser cutter from FLUX. With a working surface of 730x410mm and the 60W laser, it is the largest and most powerful laser cutter from FLUX. The HEXA comes with a powerful 60W CO2 laser. With this you can cut wood and acrylic up to 10mm. You can even cut fabric up to 20mm. In addition to cutting, you can also engrave on glass, metal, concrete and stone.
Thanks to the powerful Cortex M4 core chips, you can engrave at a speed of up to 900mm/s.
Unique to the HEXA is that it is equipped with autofocus as standard. This means that your material is brought to the correct height at the touch of a button.
A great feature of the FLUX laser cutters is that they come with a camera preview. The laser cutter can photograph the entire work surface and display it in the software. This way you can position yourself with high precision for the best result.
The HEXA comes with WiFi, so you can work faster and monitor remotely. If you prefer to have a PC next to your laser cutter, you can also use a network cable.
You can use various types of files. You can load JPG, PNG, SVG and DXF files into the software for cutting and/or engraving. The Beam Studio software is free to download. If you prefer to work with a smartphone, you can use Beam Go for a one-stop design experience.
The FLUX laser cutters are safe for use at school and at home. Safety is extremely important with laser cutters. The HEXA is fully closed and automatically pauses when the lid is opened during cutting. In addition, you can immediately switch off the machine easily with a push button.
The air is sucked out of the machine. You can let this air out of your window through the supplied hose. You can also use an industrial air filter (not included) to filter the air inside.
If you want to engrave round objects such as glasses, you can expand the HEXA with the Rotary Add-on.
