Description Gravity: Analog Signal Isolator

This is the analog signal isolator from the Gravity sensor series from DFRobot. With this module you can guarantee reliable operation of sensors. Some sensors such as pH sensors and conductivity sensors interfere with each other in the same container. To ensure stable and reliable operation, it is necessary to isolate the signal and power.
The Gravity Analog Signal Isolator is efficient at preventing interference between sensors. This module has built-in 5V insulation power which can supply directly to the sensor.
Thanks to the 3-pin Gravity connector, the module is plug & play. You don't have to solder anything. The analog signal transmission ratio is 1 : 1. This contributes to a very small impact on sensor output signals. You also do not have to adjust the code of the motherboard.
The module works with almost all analog sensors from DFRobot. It meets various requirements in situations requiring electrical isolation.

Features Analog Signal Isolator

  • The MCU terminal (non-isolation terminal) must be supplied with a precise voltage of 5,0 ± 0,1V. The higher the precision of the input voltage, the higher the precision of analog output signal.
  • This module consumes relatively large current during operation, so it is better to provide external power to the Arduino Board to ensure adequate current and voltage precision.
  • Pay attention to the operating current of your sensor or module, the maximum output current of SEN terminal is 170 mA.
  • The GND of the MCU terminal (non-isolation terminal) and the GND of SEN terminal (isolation terminal) are isolated from each other. Do not short it.
  • It is normal for the insulator to generate heat during operation.
