The IO Zero 32 is an expansion board for Raspberry Pi. It has 32 digital I/O pins. This board is based on the PCA9535 from NXP. It lets you connect up to 32 digital inputs or outputs Raspberry Pi. This product is compatible with any Raspberry Pi which has 40 GPIO pins.
You can use up to 4 IO Zero 32 boards on one Raspberry Pi stack. This gives you a maximum of 128 I/O ports. The I2C addresses are adjustable with solder jumpers. The board also has an external power port. This can be isolated from the Raspberry Pi. This way you can use a separate power supply. This is useful for projects with high power consumption.
