Description PDM MEMS microphone
This is the PDM MEMS Microphone from Adafruit. It is a special type of microphone that generates digital sound signals. This microphone uses Pulse Density Modulation (PDM). So this is very different from traditional analog microphones. It does not provide analog sound output. This is useful for microcontrollers that can only process digital signals. In addition, it generates digital audio signals via a simple PDM interface. This is different from PWM or I2S, but it is compatible with many modern microcontrollers. With this microphone you can capture sounds digitally.
