It would be nice if the housing was suitable for a Pi with a hat.

  2. Jaap Martens (verified owner) -

Works immediately after putting it together and the tube that I ordered separately fits well.

  3. Joost Van Dommelen (verified owner) -

The rpi5 is a nice device. A lot more powerful than its predecessors! Besides programming, I wouldn't know what else to do with it because even YouTube is not optimal. It's nice if you're looking for something for simple jobs and can't use distractions.

  4. Mark B. (verified owner) -

    Perfect composition

Works great, ubuntu 23.10 easy to install

  13. DiMTRX (verified owner) -

However, I would be in favor of the option of shorter HDMI to mini HDMI cables, which is too long.

  14. Patrick (verified owner) -

    New topper from Raspberry Pi

  15. AvL (verified owner) -

    Item not delivered.

  16. Hans (verified owner) -

Fast delivery, well packaged. Product fully meets expectations.

  17. Top location (verified owner) -

Everything works fine, but I would have liked to buy the parts individually instead of in a kit.

  18. Igor Krstic (verified owner) -

    I like it.

  19. Marcel Müller (verified owner) -

No tested yet. May edit later.

Nice complete solution, everything you need at once in 1 single kit.

  22. Ramazan Ates (verified owner) -

    Excellent

  23. Hans van Lith (verified owner) -

Works well, but it is a shame that there is no other adapter included

  28. Robert Jansen (verified owner) -

The Pi5 is a real improvement and this starter kit allows you to get started quickly.
The SD card contains the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS, which saves you having to download and write the image to the SD card,
Too bad about the food. I would also have preferred a Pi5 power supply (although...) but the 3A power supply is often sufficient.
In the Raspi-config tool (menu: Preferences -> Raspberry Pi configuration) you can enable the “disable USB current limit” in the “Performance” tab. Then my Lacie Rugger 1TB 2.5″HD works perfectly.
Booting from an SSD without a Pi5 power supply? Put usb_max_current_enable=1 in the config.txt and then it usually works

  29. Frans Balk (verified owner) -

    Nice and fast

  30. J. Wouda (verified owner) -

Everything in one package so you can get started right away.

  31. Reinout Meyer (verified owner) -

    perfectly in accordance with specs

  32. Sander Evers (verified owner) -

Unfortunately, it came with the Pi 4 adapter, so it has insufficient power for all external equipment. The webshop itself does not have the Pi 5 adapter in stock. (I had to order this from a competitor)

  33. Gerard Heijnen (verified owner) -

    Works fine

  34. Winston Stuger (verified owner) -

Good package. Unfortunately, there is a 15w charger included instead of the officially recommended 27w.

  35. Guy Janssen (verified owner) -

very good service, everything well received

  36. anonymously (verified owner) -

    excellent based on promised options

  37. Ronald de Graaf (verified owner) -

Very good product for making projects.

  38. Kidney (verified owner) -

Everything is good. Except that the included power supply is too weak for my external USB drive. So need the new one. Too bad, I don't even care about the money but the waste. The old one immediately disappears (forever?) into a drawer.

  39. Djay (verified owner) -

    Works as expected.

  40. Hj Derks (verified owner) -

    Long awaited

  41. Peter Keller (verified owner) -

Good stuff, but the power supply is not the one intended for Pi5.

  42. Wja From the bunt (verified owner) -

software is a bit disappointing, not everything works well compared to pi3b, I hope it will come

  43. Peter Hendriks (verified owner) -

Today the Raspberry 5 kit includes everything in basic condition. Got started right away and everything works.
But unfortunately the supplied power supply does cause a problem.
the system reports that this power supply is insufficient for the raspberry 5.
The power supply is a 3A one, but a 5A power supply is required to get all the functionality out of the Raspberry 5.
This is a disappointing experience because when you buy a starter kit you expect that all components are matched, but this is clearly not the case. The description of the kit states that the Raspberry 5 works with the supplied power supply and that is correct, but with limitations. For example, booting an SSD is not possible because the 3A power supply is insufficient.
