Description TFmini-I Industrial Lidar Distance Sensor
This is the TFmini-I Industrial Lidar Distance Sensor. It has a measuring range of 12 meters. The operation of the TFmini-I is based on the Time-of-Flight (TOF) principle. The sensor periodically emits modulations of near-infrared light. This light is then reflected after contact with the object. The sensor measures the time it takes for light to travel there and back. This calculates the distance. Accuracy ranges from ±6 cm (0.1-6 m) to ±1% (6-12 m). The sensor has a frame rate of 1 to 40Hz and a distance resolution of 1 cm. This sensor therefore offers fast and reliable measurements. The TFmini-I uses a VCSEL light source with a central wavelength of 850nm. It has a compact design of 50 x 34 x 41 mm. The Lidar can operate at temperatures between -20°C and 60°C.
