Description 6-Axis Accelerometer and Gyroscope
The Grove 6-Axis Accelerometer And Gyroscope (BMI088) is a high performance Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). This ensures accurate measurements of movements and rotations in six degrees of freedom (6DoF). This sensor is based on the BOSCH BMI088 and offers excellent vibration suppression. Making it ideal for applications where accurate motion detection is required. The main idea behind Grove is to simplify the process of building electronic circuits by eliminating the need for soldering or complex wiring. The sensor can handle an extended range of acceleration up to ±24g. Enabling accurate measurements even under strong signal illumination. Both the gyroscope and the accelerometer can be used separately or together for synchronizing data. Which allows for versatility in data acquisition. The sensor combines a 16-bit triaxial gyroscope and a 16-bit triaxial accelerometer. This offers extensive options for motion sensors.
