The Adafruit Sensirion SHT41 is a high-quality sensor. This measures temperature and humidity with great accuracy. The SHT41 is the fourth generation in the Sensirion series. It started with the SHT10 and has now evolved into this advanced version. This sensor excels in precision. It has a typical accuracy of ±1.8% at relative humidity from 25 to 75%. For temperature, the accuracy is ±0.2 °C between 0 and 75 °C.
A notable improvement over the SHT40 is its accuracy over the full humidity range. The SHT41 has a typical accuracy of ±2% over the 0-100% RH range. This is significantly better than the SHT40. The SHT41 has a maximum accuracy of ±3%, where the SHT40 goes up to ±6%.
This sensor has a true I2C interface. This makes it easy to connect with just two wires. Moreover, it is both 3V and 5V compatible. This is thanks to the voltage regulator and level shifting circuit on the breakout.
The design of the breakout board with the SHT41 includes supporting components. Think of pullup resistors and capacitors. For even more convenience, the SparkFun Qwiic has compatible STEMMA QT connectors for the I2C bus. No soldering required! A QT cable is available separately.
Each order includes a fully assembled and tested PCB breakout. Plus a small piece of header for use on a breadboard. Soldering is easy and fast, even for beginners.
The sensor works with both Arduino and CircuitPython/Python library code. This makes it compatible with virtually any microcontroller or single-board computer like Raspberry Pi.
