Description MLX90640 Thermal Camera Breakout
This is the MLX90640 Thermal Camera Breakout from Adafruit. This sensor contains a 24x32 matrix of IR thermal sensors. It will return a series of 768 individual infrared temperature measurements via I2C. The camera is more compact and easier to use than other thermal imaging cameras. It has a field of view of 55°x35°. The camera measures temperatures ranging from -40°C to 300°C with an accuracy of +- 2°C (in the range 0-100°C). The camera is hand soldered to a breakoutboard with a 3,3V regulator and level shifting. This allows you to use it with any 3V or 5V microcontroller or computer. It also has SparkFun qwiic-compatible STEMMA QT connectors.
