This is the SenseCAP K1100 Sensor Prototyping kit with LoRa & AI van Seeed Studio. In the digital age, IoT and big data are becoming more and more common. Mass data collection via sensors is required to facilitate digital transformation. With that in mind, the SenseCAP K1100 comes with all essential sensors and devices. This way you get a Wio Terminal, an AI Vision Sensor and a LoRa®-enabled module. Users of all types of backgrounds and skill levels can make DIY sensors with this.
Starts in 10 minutes
The SenseCAP K1100 offers easy implementation. The processing time from the front-end to the cloud system is also very short. Seeed Studio has made the kit to connect perfectly to the SenseCAP platform. This gives you convenient and complete Cloud support. You therefore do not have a long and complex start-up process. Within 10 minutes you can already make your first DIY sensors to develop AIoT solutions.
Advanced technologies
One of the most notable features of the SenseCAP K1100 is a ready-to-use & always-on Grove - Vision AI Sensor. This sensor is ideal for object detection. It supports custom machine learning models that users can train on the Wio terminal. It also allows users to import someone else's models directly.
Lora® is the go-to technology for IoT projects. The Wio E5 enables the kit to have long range wireless connectivity with a wide frequency range. It makes it possible to use Lorawan®. Lorawan® is a highly secured and globally standardized wireless network. You can use it to transmit data in an energy-efficient and cost-effective way.
Wide expandability
You can expand the SenseCAP K1100 with the Seeed Studio Grove modules. More than 400 different modules and sensors are available. The K1100 has two Grove interfaces so you can use it board can easily expand.

The SenseCAP K1100 is integrated with a wide range of cloud services. This makes it a powerful toolkit to build projects in different ecosystems. You can easily connect it to Helium, Azure, SenseCAP and other common platforms.

Open Source Platform
The SenseCAP K1100 is an open-source prototyping kit. It is designed to drive the co-creation of IoT sensors to address real world challenges. It is compatible with easy-to-use programming platforms such as Arduino. In addition, you can train the Wio Terminal TinyML models using the built-in Grove Sensors.
All software and hardware in the SenseCAP K1100 are open source under the MIT license. Users can develop freely based on the documentation available.
Upgradeable to industrial
The SenseCAP K1100 serves as a gateway to the more expensive SenseCAP LoRaWAN® series of industrial sensors. Users can develop multiple AIoT applications with this kit. After this it is possible to scale up to the sustainable and industrial SenseCAP sensors.
